Margot Robbie opened up about how Rachel McAdams inspired her rise to A-list stardom.
The Barbie star gave her debut in Australian television on Neighbours (2008-2011), she then received international recognition with her breakout role in The Wolf of Wall Street in 2013.
In an interview with BCC Radio 2, on press tour of Wuthering Heights, the Suicide Squad actress revealed she used to study McAdams viral audition for The Notebook before her own auditions to get into the right headspace.
When asked if the Send Help star's audition ever worked for her, Robbie admitted, "Technically, you could say any part I got would’ve been in thanks to her because I was always watching her audition before."
Calling it a "commitment," the three time Oscar nominee said that she "always watched it to remind myself that you have to fully commit in the audition room."
She even recalled a humble interaction with McAdams on set of About Time, where the Canadian star played the lead role and the 35-year-old artist had small role.
Robbie said that while at that time she was "nothing," McAdams was still "so lovely to me and my brother. I just love her."
As of now, both the actresses are on a promotional run for their new releases.
Robbie's Wuthering Heights starring alongside Jacob Elordi is slated for release on February 13.
Meanwhile, McAdams acting opposite to Dylan O'Brien in Send Help, has already topped the box office in its first two weekend of release.
