The Little Women actor has not been included in Vanity Fair’s 2026 issue of their new class of leading men, alongside a number of noteworthy stars in the industry.

On the cover were Jeremy Allen White, Glen Powell, A$AP Rocky, LaKeith Stanfield, Callum Turner, Riz Ahmed, Harris Dickinson, Andrew Garfield, Paul Mescal as well as Michael B. Jordan.

The Screen Actors Guild award winner not being in the issue along with Jacob Elordi, as well as some of the other stars that were included raised eyebrows among netizens.

One internet user wrote on X (formerly Twitter) “Timothee finding out he’s been ousted from the ‘new class of leading men’” alongside a gif of Emily Blunt pointing a gun to her head.

This lead to fans defending him with remarks like, “Nah, he’s far too major to be playing background. That king needs the whole magazine to himself,” and “Tbf Chalamet is kind of in a league of his own rn.”

“5 of these guys have nearly 15+ years in Hollywood as actual names in blockbusters idk bout this,” a third netizen wrote, tagging the magazine as others echoed the sentiment that the men were either already well-established or wrongly picked.
