Timothée Chalamet shrugs off Kylie Jenner split, flashes carefree smile

Timothée Chalamet, who is gearing up for his new movie Dune: Part Three, looked relaxed and all smiles just days after reportedly calling it quits with Kylie Jenner.

The 29-year-old actor, who first sparked romance rumours with the 28-year-old beauty mogul after meeting at Paris Fashion Week in April 2023, was seen stepping out with friends.

Sources tell the Daily Mail it’s “trouble in paradise” for the unlikely couple, with one insider claiming, “He broke up with Kylie… but she’s crazy about him, so they could get back together.”

Another said Jenner has been “chasing him” while Chalamet focuses on filming.

For those unfamiliar, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star already shares two children with rapper Travis Scott.

The timing coincides with the Wonka actor’s new Vogue cover interview, in which he refused to discuss his relationship, saying, “I don’t have anything to say.”

Meanwhile, he hinted fatherhood might be on the horizon, mentioning his sister’s new baby and Zendaya’s engagement to Tom Holland.

The mum of two has also stayed tight-lipped, telling British Vogue, “Privacy is so important to me,” but insiders suggest she’s frustrated by the imbalance. 

One friend said she felt blindsided by Chalamet’s casual dismissal of their romance and that she’s been “putting in all the effort” while he rarely reciprocates.

Fans and experts agree the uneven dynamic is causing tension, with trauma counsellor Audrey Hope warning, “Relationships get ugly when one party loves more than the other.”
