Adam Sandler, who is gearing up for his upcoming movie Jay Kelly, shared heartfelt words about his long-time friend Jennifer Aniston.
The 59-year-old actor, who first rose to fame as a cast member on Saturday Night Live in the early 1990s, couldn’t hide his delight as he celebrated Aniston’s new romance with Jim Curtis.
Adding to that, he also honoured his Murder Mystery co-star at Elle magazine’s Women in Hollywood event.
Presenting the 56-year-old actress with one of the evening’s top accolades, Sandler praised both Aniston and the man who has captured her heart.
According to PEOPLE magazine, the Just Go with It star told the audience at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills:
“When we are around you, me and Jackie are so happy you and Jim found each other and are having the love affair you two deserve. We love you, Jim. The whole world loves you, Jack.”
He went on to commend the Friends alum for her humour and warmth, describing her as “rocksteady” and admitting he had only seen her angry “two and a half times” in four decades of friendship.
Although Brad Pitt’s ex-wife walked the red carpet alone, she posed with Curtis inside the venue.
During her acceptance speech, The Morning Show star also highlighted the dangers AI poses to the creative industry, emphasising that storytelling and human emotion remain irreplaceable.
The pair first sparked romance rumours after being spotted holidaying together in Mallorca over the Fourth of July weekend.
Their relationship later became Instagram official, with Curtis posting photos of the couple and writing: “If this is a dream I don’t want to wake up.”
