Nicki Minaj fans get recognition after explosive speech at UN

Nicki Minaj was invited to speak at the UN platform for the issues faced by Christians in Nigeria after she raised voice on social media.

Although the 42-year-old rapper was criticised for seemingly siding with President Donald Trump, Nicki stole spotlights with her explosive speech at the international forum.

The Barbie World hitmaker cleared the air that it “isn’t about taking sides. This is about standing up in the face of injustice… In Nigeria, Christians are being targeted and driven from their homes.”

She noticeably highlighted the “growing problem” of so many “countries across the world and demands urgent action.”

After speaking about “uniting humanity,” the rapper was offered a gift by the U.S Ambassador of the UN Mike Waltz.

However, it was not only the Bang Bang crooner being honoured with a pink United Nation hoodie but her entire fandom as Mark renamed it from The Barbz to “UN Barbz.”

He playfully declared being part of the fandom, saying: “We’re now United Nations Barbz.” Nicki expressed her gratitude for being offered this opportunity.

Nicki made history by becoming the first female rapper to address the atrocities that are being committed against the Nigerians at “Combating Religious Violence and the Killing of Christians in Nigeria.”

Why was Nicki Minaj invited to UN?

The special visit came after President Donald Trump was appreciated by the musician after he declared Nigeria as “Country of Particular Concern.”
