Meghan Markle has given fans a rare glimpse into her family life with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, revealing the sweet rituals she shares with her two young children.
Speaking at the Godmothers Bookstore in California alongside her friend Courtney Adamo, Meghan opened up about how Courtney’s new book, The Family Home: Inspiring Ideas For A Home Filled With Joy, has influenced her own parenting style.
The Duchess, 44, shared that she uses the “rose and thorn” ritual, a reflective exercise where children talk about the best and hardest parts of their day.
Meghan said: “Our daughter, she’s four and she’s a very strong personality — she’s incredible. I’ll ask, ‘What’s your rose and your thorn?’ and she’ll go, ‘My day was just a blast!’”
She also revealed that she and Prince Harry have a “healing blanket” at home, a comforting family tradition for when Archie or Lilibet feel unwell.
The cozy item was a gift from beauty entrepreneur Victoria Jackson, co-owner of the bookstore.
