Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson make big demand in Royal Lodge exit talks

Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have reportedly agreed to vacate Royal Lodge, their lavish 30-room Windsor mansion, following growing public outrage over their “peppercorn rent” arrangement.

But the couple, who both surrendered their royal titles amid renewed scrutiny over Andrew’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein, have made one major condition.

According to The Sun, the former Duke and Duchess of York have told palace officials they will only move out if they each receive a new home in return.

Andrew, 65, is said to have his sights set on Frogmore Cottage, once home to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, while Sarah, 66, reportedly wants Adelaide Cottage, which Prince William and Princess Kate are due to vacate next month.

A royal insider told the outlet: “Andy is willing to leave, but these are his demands. He knows his time at the Lodge is up, the writing’s on the wall.”

The source added that after years of living together post-divorce, the pair are finally preparing to go their separate ways, calling it “a fresh start for both” amid months of scandal and intense public pressure.
