Taylor Swift’s fans have received their signed copies of the singer’s twelfth studio album The Life of a Showgirl, but some fans’ copies are different than the others.
It appears that a couple of the CD’s have also been signed by the So High School singer’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, and a number of fans are not happy about the surprise signature.
The National Football League player is the inspiration behind a majority of tracks from the album so it does not seem unfitting for him to make the small contribution on some of the copies.
However, netizens have mixed reviews on the change, with a majority of them arguing that they didn’t want it to be there.
One internet user wrote, “if i paid for taylor's signature and taylor's signature only id lowkey be peeved bc why would a man be there,” while another added, “i like travis but why does he HAVE to sign it.”
“Actually, as much as I love them, I would prefer only Taylor signature, because it’s her album and I’m a swiftie,” a third fan wrote.
Notably, the poor reception of Taylor’s album has made some of her diehard fans nostalgic for her songwriting on previous albums and they have also begun to harbour dislike for the man inspiring the songs, Travis.
Yes, Taylor is engaged to Travis, and the betrothed pair announced their engagement via Instagram.
