Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson unravel in ‘Die My Love’ trailer
‘Die My Love’ starring Jennifer Lawrence, Robert Pattinson, hits theaters November 7
Mubi has unveiled the chilling first trailer for Die My Love, a psychological thriller from filmmaker Lynne Ramsay, starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson.
Based on Ariana Harwicz’s novel of the same name, the film follows Grace and Jackson (Lawrence and Pattinson), a young couple who leave New York for a quiet life in the countryside after inheriting a house.
But isolation soon takes its toll on Grace, a new mother and writer, whose search for identity spirals into a haunting mix of imagination and madness.
The trailer teases escalating tension between the pair, with glimpses of Lawrence’s character wandering through open fields with a shotgun and later brandishing a knife, hinting at a descent into chaos.
Mubi acquired the project in a major Cannes deal earlier this year. The screenplay was co-written by Ramsay, Enda Walsh, and Alice Birch, with LaKeith Stanfield, Nick Nolte, and Sissy Spacek rounding out the cast.
Die My Love is set to hit theaters on November 7.
