Selena Gomez pays tribute to Taylor Swift’s new album

Selena Gomez applauded her longtime friend Taylor Swift’s new album, The Life of a Showgirl, by sharing some snaps from her wedding.

Gomez, who tied the knot with music producer Benny Blanco on Sept. 27 in California, shared photos and an unseen video with Swift from the celebration in an Instagram post on Monday, October 6.

"In honor of SHOWGIRL... blessed to have you by my side almost 20 years later, gator! I love you @taylorswift forever and always," the singer wrote in the caption.

The first video features Gomez behind the scenes of her wedding, getting ready for her nuptials in a white slip dress and veil.

Swift, sitting beside her in a sparkly floral gown and signature red lipstick, couldn’t help but swoon over Gomez’s look.

"Are you even serious?" Swift asked as she held her phone and zoomed in on Gomez, who laughed. "What? Look at her. Oh my God! Oh my God!"

"I'm so happy," Gomez said. "I'm getting married. Finally!"

Gomez posted two more behind-the-scenes snaps with Swift, one capturing the pair sharing a warm hug beneath twinkling string lights, and another of them enjoying chilled drinks together.

She also included a screenshot of Swift’s new track, The Fate of Ophelia.

Earlier today, in an interview on SiriusXM’s The Morning Mash Up, Swift raved about Gomez’s wedding look, calling her “the most beautiful bride.”

“Not just the most beautiful bride,” Swift added, “just like the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.”
