Taylor Swift and Katy Perry are two of America’s most successful pop stars of the 21st century.
However, the two powerhouses have been in a cold war for years that seemingly resolved in 2019 when Katy featured on Taylor’s music video of her song You Need To Calm Down.
Now, Taylor has given another statement during her album promo which could be a thinly veiled dig at the Roar singer.
While promoting her album The Life of a Showgirl on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show with Scott Mills, she was asked if she would go to space.
The pop icon completely dismissed the idea after previously it was put down by her friend Ed Sheeran as well.
“Never, why would I do that. There’s no reason to do that.”, Taylor said refuting to make a trip to space.
Taylor’s comment was opposed to Katy’s infamous 11-minute trip to space earlier this year which received harsh criticism from around the globe.
Katy was criticised for being tone-deaf and out-of-touch capitalist who spent thousands of dollars on a few minute trip to space.
The Dark Horse singer made history by being on the first ever all-women crew to go to space along with 5 other women.
Katy Perry gave birth to her only child Daisy Dove Bloom on August 26, 2020, with her fiancé Orlando Bloom.
