Louis Tomlinson has put an end to the One Direction reunion reports.
The band was one of the most successful artists of the 21st century before it went on a hiatus in 2015.
While initially the break was explained to be of “18 months”, it turned out to be much longer.
It has been 10 years since the British heartthrobs went their solo music routes and a lot has changed.
The eldest member of the band, Louis has something to say about the highly anticipated reunion and it might disappointing for the fans.
The singer has revealed that he does not believe a reunion could happen without Liam Payne.
Liam passed away on October 16, 2024 after falling from a hotel room balcony in Buenos Aires.
Speaking to Rolling Stones UK, Louis said that he believed while Liam was alive a reunion could happen but not anymore.
“Before Liam’s passing, I always had the idea in the back of my mind. Something like ‘I’m sure we’ll do something, even if it’s just one show,’ but now I’d be really surprised if it happened.”, he admitted.
Louis was present at Liam’s funeral along with Harry Styles and Niall Horan in Buckinghamshire.
After Liam’s death, Louis reconciled with Zayn after almost 10 years.
