Taylor Swift gives glimpse of Showgirl studio sessions

Taylor Swift took Swifties behind the scenes of creating The Life of a Showgirl in collaboration with Max Martin and Shellback.

On Monday, October 6, the Grammy-winning singer took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos featuring her with the writer-producers Max and Shellback from the recording studio.

The photos were probably from Swift’s latest album creation, as she added the caption, "Being in the studio and creating these songs was an unforgettable experience, but luckily I don’t ever have to forget it because I was recording while we were writing — and now it’s a way to look back on the process and give you guys a glimpse into how we wrote these songs, and hear the moments we thought of these ideas in real time."

The pop sensation made sure to praise Max and Shellback for putting in the effort to make her 12th studio album possible.

The post included snapshots of Swift and Martin seated together at a piano, as well as a group photo of the trio enjoying drinks around a table.

In the third image, fans quickly spotted a subtle nod to Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce: the singer wore her “TNT” bracelet, the same one she debuted after the Kansas City Chiefs’ AFC Championship win on Jan. 28, 2024.

Kelce owns a matching version, both crafted by Wove Made Inc. Jewelers.

Alongside the photos, the “Elizabeth Taylor” hitmaker also dropped The Life of a Showgirl (DELUXE: Alone in My Tower Acoustic Version), a special edition featuring her original songwriting voice memos from the album’s recording sessions.

The release is available on iTunes through Tuesday, Oct. 7.
