Prince Harry channels Princess Dianas legacy in emotional UNAIDS project

Prince Harry has teamed up with some of Hollywood’s biggest names to deliver a powerful new message about the fight to end AIDS.

The Duke of Sussex, 41, appeared in a short UNAIDS film alongside Charlize Theron, Magic Johnson and Thuso Mbedu, urging urgent action against funding cuts threatening global progress.

Filmed at his Montecito home, Harry wore a simple black polo shirt as he addressed the devastating impact of reduced resources.

“Right now, babies are being born with HIV due to interruptions in antiretroviral treatment for their mothers,” he said.

“Without urgent action, 6 million more people will become infected with HIV and 4 million will die within four years.”

The Duke, who co-founded Sentebale in memory of Princess Diana’s HIV/AIDS activism, warned that “abandoning this life-saving work now would be a devastating betrayal of progress.”

His Archewell Foundation is also believed to have supported UNAIDS’ mission.

Produced by Hollywood writer Ron Nyswan, the film premiered at the UN General Assembly, reinforcing UNAIDS’ mission to end the epidemic by 2030.
