Former Vogue editor Edward Enninful has sparked speculation of a falling out with Meghan Markle after hinting he wouldn’t collaborate with her again.
Enninful, 53, served as editor-in-chief of British Vogue until 2023, and famously worked with Meghan in 2019 when she guest-edited the magazine’s September issue Forces for Change.
At the time, Meghan, then a working royal and pregnant with Prince Archie, was hailed by Enninful as an “ultimate force for change.”
But years later, rumours of a rift between the duchess and the Vogue team began circulating, with reports of creative clashes behind the scenes.
When asked if Meghan could feature on the cover of his new magazine 72, Enninful told The Daily Mail: “Meghan and I had a great moment with the issue we did, but I feel like I have done it and I wouldn’t necessarily repeat myself.”
Instead, Enninful revealed he would welcome King Charles and Queen Camilla, saying: “I love King Charles and Queen Camilla -- I went to the coronation with Katy Perry. I am happy to have them in the magazine. They care about the same things I do.”
