Meghan Markle debuts blonde highlights, fans say she is 'copying' Kate Middleton

Meghan Markle has sent social media into overdrive after debuting noticeably lighter locks at the One805LIVE! charity concert in California this weekend.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, appeared with golden-tinted highlights instead of her usual deep brunette shade, sparking immediate comparisons to Princess Kate. 

Earlier this month, the Princess of Wales, 43, stunned the public when she unveiled her own fresh blonde update at the Natural History Museum in London.

The timing of Meghan’s hair transformation hasn’t gone unnoticed. On X, one critic wrote: “Copycat Meghan strikes again… she’s lightened her hair after Princess Catherine. The irony? Still nobody bothers! GIVE IT UP! You can’t ever compete with our Future Queen.”

Another added: “Everyone was right… she did in fact lighten her hair straight after Catherine lightened hers.”

Others were quick to suggest jealousy may be driving Meghan’s switch, with comments branding her “desperate” and “obsessed” with mirroring Kate.
