Kate Middleton's new blonde hair compared to Disney's Sleeping Beauty

Kate Middleton turned heads as she stepped out with Prince William at the Natural History Museum in London on Thursday, debuting a striking blonde hairstyle that left royal watchers divided.

Just weeks earlier, the Princess of Wales, 43, was spotted with lighter locks while in Balmoral, but yesterday’s outing made the transformation crystal clear. 

Gone was her trademark brunette look, replaced with golden curls that some fans likened to a Disney princess.

“Princess Kate looks lovely with blonde hair,” one fan gushed on X, while another wrote: “Looove Kate's blonde hair!” 

A third chimed in: “Good for her!!! I love it! It gives her a fresh new look. But she’s just as beautiful as a brunette, too!”

HELLO! Magazine’s Deputy Beauty and Lifestyle Editor Melanie Macleod even said Kate’s hair was the definition of “princess hair,” calling it “long, tumbling Sleeping Beauty style curls in a golden hue.”

But not everyone was convinced. Some longtime fans admitted they preferred her natural brunette shade. 

“Huge Kate fan. Not a fan of the hair,” one person wrote. Another added: “I like her natural hair color better,” while a third simply said: “I prefer her as a brunette.”

Thursday’s museum visit marked Kate and William’s first engagement after the summer holidays and came just a day after Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, seven, returned to Lambrook School in Berkshire.
