Meghan Markle is not expected to accompany Prince Harry when he returns to the UK next week, according to new betting odds.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, will fly to London on Monday, September 8, for the annual WellChild Awards, a charity event he has supported for 17 years.
But bookmakers at Pundit Arena predict just a 16.7 percent chance that Meghan, 44, will join her husband for the trip.
Instead, the Duchess is tipped to remain in Montecito, California, with their two children, Archie, six, and Lilibet, four.
Meghan has not set foot in the UK since September 2022, when she attended Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.
While a return for this visit seems unlikely, analysts say 2026 is currently the most probable year for Meghan’s UK comeback, with odds of 10/11.
Joe Lyons, spokesperson for Pundit Arena, explained: “Royal watchers will be glued to Prince Harry’s UK visit next week, but the odds suggest there’s a low chance his wife Meghan Markle will join him.
A return to the UK in general for the first time since 2022 still appears to be some way off, with 2026 currently seen as the most likely window.”
