King Charles' office issued a major update about two key royals amid Sarah Ferguson's controversial email to Jeffrey Epstein.
On September 23, the official Instagram page of the royal family released a series of delightful photos, featuring Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie, from their Japan tour.
The King's spokesperson revealed that the royal couple's foreign tour has come to an end.
"Goodbye and thank you, Japan! The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh’s visit has been all about looking to the future," the statement reads.
"From Tokyo to Koyasan and Expo 2025 Osaka, this trip celebrated the friendship between our two nations. Thank you for the warm welcome!"
It is pertinent to note that Buckingham Palace released a statement about Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie after the royals hit a setback.
For the unversed, the Duchess of York's message to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein leaked in the media, sparking strong reactions from the public and the charity owners to whom she is affiliated.
It has been said that the latest controversy must be difficult for the cancer-stricken King Charles.
