Lady Diana’s surprising cameo in Harry Potter series

Harry Potter novels are being adapted into a series after the massive success of the films.

While fans are excited to see what the new cast has in future for them, the pictures from the shoot sets promise an excellent adaptation.

Interestingly, in the first season of the series, which is under production right now, late Lady Diana will make a sneaky appearance.

The movie is set in the 1980s as the young wizard Harry is born in July 1980 and goes on to win the Battle of Hogwarts in 1997.

To film the scenes from the 80s, Hertfordshire town in London has been transformed into a 1980s town square.

The set was meticulously crafted which featured a news paper stand with one familiar newspaper that had the Princess of Wales on the cover page.

The news dates back to November 1, 1981, when it was announced that the Charles and Diana are expecting their first child together.

In the picture, Diana can be seen smiling as she heads out to attend a luncheon at the City of London Guildhall few hours after the Buckingham Palace had announced the good news.

It is also interesting to note that the late princess might have not known the cultural phenomnon of the young wizard as the first Harry Potter book came out on June 26, 1997 and Diana passed away on August 31, 1997.
