Saturday Night Live has announced a lineup of familiar, well-loved celebrity guests who will be hosting the first few episodes of the fast approaching season.

The upcoming 51st season of the sketch comedy show has had major cast shakeups that have concerned fans of the show about its writing in the future, as well as about beloved comedians and their flair leaving them unsatisfied but the show’s host list is somewhat reassuring.

Bad Bunny will host the debut episode on October 4 with Doja Cat, who will be appearing on the show for the first time ever, with the following days featuring Amy Poehler, Role Model and Sabrina Carpenter.

The show has a long history of including political satire and bias in its sketches and commentary, which has made fans of the highly popular NBC show urge creators and producers to bring in late-night hosts Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel.

Jimmy Kimmel Live!’s sudden cancellation and the 61-year-old’s axing both have been linked to right-wing politics and United States President Donald Trump, who has expressed satisfaction with both situations and subsequently sparked a debate about free speech.

Netizens on social media write, “Let Kimmel and Colbert host,” and “If Colbert and Kimmel don’t pop up in cameos somewhere in the season premiere then someone f***ed up.”

“Before you are next please have Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert host. Stand up. Your country needs you. Add a special appearance by Rosie ODonnell and Kathy Griffin. Comedy can’t be silenced. Free Speech,” wrote a third.

What celebrity has been on SNL the most?

Alec Baldwin, who was featured in Rust, is the most recurring celebrity on Saturday Night Live.
