The family of Virginia Giuffre has called for a full investigation into Prince Andrew, saying he should not escape accountability despite years of denial.
Virginia, a victim of Jeffrey Epstein who tragically died by suicide in April, previously accused Andrew of sexually abusing her when she was 17, claims the Duke of York has always vehemently denied.
In 2022, he reached a multi-million-dollar out-of-court settlement with her, though he admitted no wrongdoing.
Now, her brother Sky Roberts has demanded action. Speaking on the BBC’s Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, he said: “It doesn’t matter if it’s a Royal Family member or president or prince… every single person deserves to be held to the fullest extent of the law.”
Roberts continued: “He’s been stripped of titles and publicly shamed in certain ways, but that’s not enough. The fact that he’s still living in a palace or castle is not enough."
"Prince Andrew needs to be fully investigated, and if found guilty, he should be put behind bars for the rest of his life.”
