US President Donald Trump’s real thoughts about Kate Middleton have been revealed just days before his upcoming UK state visit with wife Melania Trump.
The former US President, 78, and the First Lady will touch down in Britain on Tuesday for a two-day state visit, during which they will be formally welcomed by Prince William and Princess Kate at Windsor Castle.
The royal couple will then introduce the Trumps to King Charles and Queen Camilla before taking part in an open-air greeting and carriage procession through the castle grounds.
According to insiders, the Trumps are especially “thrilled” that Kate, 43, will be taking on such a central role throughout their visit.
A source told the Mail: “The President and First Lady are thrilled that the Princess of Wales will play such a prominent role in their visit. The inclusion of Princess Kate in so many events during the state visit is an honour."
"The Trumps very much hoped she would be part of their visit, but nothing was confirmed until this week because of the princess’s health situation.”
On the second day of the trip, Melania will meet Kate at Frogmore Gardens, where the pair will tour the grounds together and meet with Chief Scout Dwayne Fields and children from the Scouts’ Squirrels programme.
