Prince Harry drops hint he could be extending his Europe stay

Prince Harry isn’t done surprising royal watchers as he set sail on another engagement before heading back home.

The Duke of Sussex, 40, wrapped up his four-day UK trip last week, but instead of flying straight home to California, Harry stunned many by quietly boarding a train from Poland into Ukraine.

Arriving in Kyiv on Friday morning, Harry launched new Invictus Games Foundation initiatives designed to support the rehabilitation of wounded people across the country.

He is also set to visit the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War, where he’s expected to meet 200 veterans, before sitting down with Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko.

The trip, carried out with permission from Meghan and the UK government, marks one of Harry’s most high-profile visits since stepping back from royal duties in 2020.

But speculation is already swirling about what comes next.

With Katharine, Duchess of Kent’s funeral scheduled for September 16 at Westminster Cathedral, just one day after Harry’s 41st birthday, insiders wonder if he’ll extend his stay in Europe to attend.
