Prince Andrew is once again under scrutiny after a resurfaced claim from Jeffrey Epstein’s infamous “birthday book” alleged the Duke allowed a woman to sit on the late Queen Elizabeth II’s throne.
The 238-page book, compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell in 2003 and recently released by US officials, included a section where an unnamed “assistant” described being shown private areas of Buckingham Palace by Andrew.
The woman, who claimed she was a 22-year-old divorcee working as a hostess, wrote that she had “seen the private quarters of Buckingham Palace, sat on the Queen of England’s throne,” and met figures including Bill Clinton, Donald Trump, Kevin Spacey, Naomi Campbell and Michael Jackson.
Royal expert Ingrid Seward told The Sun the claims highlight Andrew’s “entitled” attitude: “There’s no way anyone would have sat on the thrones without being with Andrew.
He feels he’s entitled to do whatever he wants because he is a Prince and is special, but he is living in another century. It shows such a lack of respect for his mother who bent over backwards for him.”
The assistant also left bikini photos and gushed over Epstein in the book, writing: “I believe you are the most extraordinary person I’ve ever met.”
