Prince Harry still an asset to royal family, says Jane Moore

Loose Women star Jane Moore has called for Prince Harry to be welcomed back into the royal fold, despite reports the Duke of Sussex has been “iced out” by his family.

Harry, 40, is currently in the UK for the WellChild Awards, where he also reunited with King Charles, who is also in London for his weekly cancer treatment and meeting with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.

The pair last met in February 2024, after the King’s cancer diagnosis was revealed.

Writing in her column for The Sun, Moore, 63, argued that Harry remains “an asset” to the monarchy, pointing to his appearance at the WellChild Awards as proof.

“Perhaps it’s time for them to look at Harry not as an enemy, but from the perspective of someone who lost his mother and, unlike his older brother, felt marooned by a lack of purpose in a family where duty takes precedence,” she wrote.

Moore acknowledged that Harry has often been “his own worst enemy,” but said his anger and protectiveness over his family are more understandable given his role as the “spare.”

She suggested reconciliation could be possible, with a “watertight NDA for all parties to sign.”

Harry’s estrangement from the royals deepened after his bombshell memoir Spare, his Oprah interview, and his Netflix series with Meghan Markle.

Despite this, he has said he would like to mend relations.
