On September 8, the two-minute trailer of the third instalment in the murder mystery franchise received positive reviews among fans.
Netizens took to social media to express their excitement about watching Daniel Craig return to the big screen. One fan wrote, “I'm fully seated and anticipating.” Another well-wisher penned, “This looks like it's gonna be good!”
The video features a Gothic setting in a church, with Daniel Craig as the charming detective, Benoit Blanc, returning to solve yet another murder.
Notably, the third part will follow Craig’s most difficult case yet, although plot details are still kept under wraps, and not much about the case was revealed from the clip.
Directed and written by Rion Johnson, the A-list ensemble includes Jeremy Renner, Andrew Scott, Mila Kunis, and Glenn Close, among others.
As per the 51-year-old filmmaker, he is open to expanding the film series after being inspired by the late author Agatha Christie.
Daniel Craig quit the 007 role due to the physical pressure of the character, and he wanted to explore other opportunities.
