Emma Myers recently revealed the most miserable scene she had to shoot in the second season of Netflix’s series, Wednesday.
In conversation with CinemaBlend, the 23-year-old actress opened up about the episode in which Wednesday and Enid switch bodies.
The scene required both actresses to play each other’s character, which Emma confessed was a challenge. She said, “It was very comical, but obviously we were both miserable and nervous because we wanted to get it right.”
The Family Switch lead further added that the key to nailing Jenna Ortega’s character is by “standing still, not blinking, making sure I had every move choreographed in my head.”
Notably, the episode gives a humorous perspective for fans, leaning in on their theories of how Wednesday would react to colours and acting merrily.
Though they didn’t expect her to be actually allergic to colour, as mentioned in the first season.
The show’s second part was released on September 6 with eight episodes and a feature by Lady Gaga. It received wide acclaim across the streaming platform for its costumes, acting, and intense plot.
Directed by Tim Burton and written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, the A-list cast includes Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Hunter Doohan, and Luis Guzmán, among others.
For the unversed, netizens are already anticipating the third season, which has been confirmed along with a sequel. However, production is speculated to begin in 2026.
Lady Gaga portrays Rosaline Rotwood in the show Wednesday; she spent three days filming in Ireland. Her character is a legendary teacher at Nevermore Academy who crosses paths with the titular character.
