British heartthrob Orlando Bloom is grateful for the changes in his life following the end of his relationship with Katy Perry.
On Friday, Sept. 5, while promoting his new film The Cut with Today’s Craig Melvin, Bloom reflected on the former couple’s breakup.
"There's been some personal changes in your life since you were here the last time. How are you doing?" Melvin asked.
"I'm great, man. I'm so grateful," Bloom replied on the morning show. "We have the most beautiful daughter. You know when you leave everything on the field like I did in this movie? I feel grateful for all of it."
Bloom and Perry share a 5-year-old daughter, Daisy.
"And we're great. We're going to be great. Nothing but love," he concluded.
The couple’s split was confirmed on July 3, with reports stating they had ended their relationship and that Perry intends to maintain a “positive and respectful relationship” with Bloom.
"He's the father of their daughter and that will always come first for her," a source told PEOPLE.
"They've been through a lot together and while they've decided to go their separate ways, there's still a mutual respect between them,” the insider continued.
Bloom and Perry remain in touch after the split as they co-parent their daughter.
