American pop star Sabrina Carpenter recently release her follow up album, after the success of Short ‘n Sweet, titled Man’s Best Friend.
The album, despite the controversy surrounding its theme, has secured UK’s biggest opening week for an international artist of 2025 so far, breaking several streaming records and dominating charts.
While Sabrina enjoys the success of her album, it is being anticipated that two of her industry seniors might dethrone her.
Ed Sheeran will be dropping his eighth studio album, Play, on September 12, followed by Taylor Swift’s release of her highly anticipated twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, that will be released on October 3.
The three pop stars will battle on charts to claim the top spots.
While Ed pre-released four singles, that were all a success, Taylor has released no single from the album yet.
Currently, Taylor’s album is the most pre-saved album in the history of Spotify.
Sabrina beat the record of 2025 previously held by Lady Gaga’s album MAYHEM, which was released earlier in March.
