Miley Cyrus grew up in the public eye ever since she rose to fame from her show Hannah Montana.
The pop star has lived a controversial life since the show ended and has made particularly questionable decisions that she has opened up about.
The singer is the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish, who got divorced in 2022.
Miley did a joint interview with her mother, Tish, and sisters, Brandi and Noah, for The Cut, where she revealed the “terrible” dating advice he mother gave her regarding boys.
“Mom’s always wanted me to stay with the wrong guy ’cause they’re hot.”, she revealed.
The 32-year-old said her mother told her “the wrong way” to handle relationships. She said she had to learn the right way by herself.
“I had to learn that the hard way because my mommy taught me the wrong way and then I had to learn the right way by myself”, she explained.
The Wrecking Ball singer was married to Liam Hemsworth till the marriage infamously ended in 2020. The relationship is speculated to be the inspiration behind the song Flowers, which won Miley her first ever Grammy.
