One Direction star Louis Tomlinson’s girlfriend, Zara McDermott, revealed that she landed in trouble in Thailand.
The singer started dating the British TV star earlier this year before they went public in May.
In August, the couple took the big step of hard launching their love on Instagram.
Zara revealed that she was almost arrested in Thailand in a “really, really scary” incident.
The TV star faced the “petrifying” experience while filming the BBC documentary, Thailand: The Dark Side of Paradise.
The 28-year-old explained that she, along with her crew members, was threatened by Bangkok police while filming in bars.
“The whole sequence gets cut down. But that was over the span of a few hours of filming there, the tensions were starting to increase with the police,”, she recalled as per Daily Mail.
She explained that the threats came despite them having the permission to film.
“We nearly got arrested because of the filming that we were doing, but, the interesting thing about that is that we'd got all the permissions in advance.”, she added.
The documentary based on three parts explores the pros and cons of the destination.
