Meghan Markle’s former friend Lizzie Cundy has launched a fresh attack on the Duchess of Sussex, branding her “bitter” and “angry” in a scathing new interview.
Cundy, 57, who met Meghan at a London event in 2013 and briefly befriended her before she began dating Prince Harry, claimed the Duchess has not been able to cope with the British public’s admiration for Princess Kate.
Speaking to The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden, the presenter alleged: “She’s fuming how the public love Kate. She needs to stop being bitter, stop being angry and stop being ‘poor me’.”
The former model, who says she was dropped by Meghan once Harry entered the picture, also accused her of pretending to be something she’s not.
“It doesn’t matter how many pots of jam she makes, she has to stop pretending. She’s not Martha Stewart,” Cundy added.
This is not the first time Cundy has spoken out against Meghan.
Earlier this year, she told MailOnline the Duchess was “desperate to be liked” and trying to “trump the royals with anything she does.”
She further claimed Meghan was “lacking likeability by the bucket-load.”
