Lana Del Rey, who is notable for her distinctive expression of melancholy, finally opened up about her upcoming album after it faces a setback.
The Summertime Sadness crooner was featured on the cover of W Magazine, where she addressed few significant questions about her album.
Previously named Lasso and then The Right Person Will Stay, her new record Stove has been delayed but Lana has reasons for it.
According to the 40-year-old, her new music will be released later as she wanted to add six tracks.
These were “more autobiographical” and “took more time” to create.
The West Coast hitmaker revealed that the new addition to her music discography will be available for streaming by the end of January 2026.
She also admitted that the studio album, produced by Luke Laird and Jack Antonoff, will “have a country flair.”
On April 11, the Ride singer mentioned these details in her now-deleted Instagram reel.
The singer admitted she has “a lot more to say [about] that.”
The Lust for Life crooner disclosed: “You do know it’s not going to come on time, right?” The popstar even questioned if she should reveal “that the name changed again?”
However, it seems that the Born to Die crooner spilled the beans about her album a little too soon.
Lana then removed the reel to keep things under the wrap until she truly felt comfortable sharing the details with the world.
