It was reported that the song hit 300 million streams on Spotify, however, fans claimed they "never heard" it.

While it broke records, one of the X users admitted, “I don’t know it.” Many netizens alleged that the streaming platform is “basically a Sabrina Carpenter fan account atp.”

A follower was disappointed at the news, claiming that it “shows you how in areas modern pop music is in the toilet really.”

While the internet remains divided on the success of her music, the pop sensation is about to release her seventh studio album in few days.

Noticeably, the narrative on her songs and albums fluctuate from time to time.

Previously, the Espresso hitmaker was appreciated for delivering stunning visuals in her upcoming track Tears.

Fans were seemingly anticipated for the launch of the record.

On the other hand, the Grammy winner was called out after she revealed the artwork of her album which showed her sitting on her knees. An unknown man pulls the hair of the songstress.

The cover sparked outrage as soon as it was unveiled with critics claiming that it has been designed for the male gaze.
