Sabrina Carpenter, who is two-time Grammy winner, shared a significant milestone with fans few days before releasing Man’s Best Friend.
Although the 26-year-old singer is looking forward to the launch, Sabrina turned to her Instagram to mark one-year anniversary of her album Short n’ Sweet.
On her social media story, the Please Please Please crooner wished: “Happy 1 year short n sweet.”
In another update, she admitted about the melodies: “I’ll love these songs and the memories making them as long as I live.”
The singer shared a heartwarming message, calling the record her "most prized possession" which brought "me closer to myself".
She expressed her gratitude towards her fans for listening to her songs.
The record, which released a year ago, dominated Billboard 200 for four weeks which includes hit tracks Please Please Please, Espresso and Taste.
Sabrina earned her first Grammy in the category pop vocal album after its huge success.
However, the songstress unveiled the artwork of her new project which sparked a strong debate as it was deemed derogatory by many.
The cover featured Sabrina sitting on her knees while a man, face out of frame, pulls her blonde locks.
Meanwhile, the pop star seemingly did not regret the picture as she poked fun at the hatred by releasing an alternative cover which is more modest.
Surprisingly, the On My Way hitmaker was applauded for stunning visuals after she dropped a teaser of her track Tears.
Moreover, she collaborated with fellow pop sensation Taylor Swift for TS12 The Life of A Showgirl’s title track, hinting at their strong connection.
With all major events lined up, the year appears to be of great importance for the popstars as they release their new projects.
