Sabrina Carpenter, who rose to fame with her role in Disney’s Girl Meets World, dropped a sneak peek of her upcoming track Tears of album Man’s Best Friend.
Although the 26-year-old singer was harshly criticised after debuting the album cover, the narrative is seemingly shifting as she unveils titbits from the project.
Sabrina turned to Instagram to share a clip for the song where she can be seen laying alone in the woods in her signature attire with a vehicle parked at the back.
She wrote in the caption: "Tears video. 8/29... just one more week until Man’s Best Friend!"
The music lovers supposedly felt connected to the music and visuals of the video posted by the Grammy winner on her official social media accounts.
One of the X users is convinced that the Please Please Please hitmaker is “going to give” a “VISUAL honey.”
Another fan applauded the music, confirming: “OH WE WILL BE STREAMING THIS SMASH HIT” while a third admirer pointed out that her “music videos are works of art!!”
As the songstress gears up to release her new record on August 29, 2025, a fourth user “can’t wait, the hype is real.”
Considering the initial reviews, fans seemingly like the new tracks which indicates Sabrina's success in shifting the narrative with her creativity.
While she is being praised for the seventh studio album, Sabrina received backlash for the debatable cover where she can be seen sitting on her knees as a man pulls her hair.
Despite being called out, the songstress showed no regret and instead clapped back at the hate saying she is “comfortable” in her sexuality.
She then poked fun at the haters by releasing a modest version of the album artwork.
