Taylor Swift, currently dominating headlines with her forthcoming album The Showgirl, recently shared a deeply personal chapter of her life.
The 35-year-old pop star appeared on boyfriend Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast, where she revealed she moved in with her dad, Scott Swift, after his life-saving heart surgery in June.
She called it a “parent-child reversal,” and said she, her mum, and brother took ICU shifts to stay by his side.
The Lover hitmaker disclosed that despite the ordeal, Scott’s humour stayed intact.
“He woke up from surgery and did a 15-minute comedy set,” Taylor laughed, adding that he even tried giving nurses Eras Tour guitar picks while in a hospital gown.
The 14-time Grammy winner also recalled helping him shower, use a walker, and settle into an adjustable bed.
“This is the man who built playsets for me—now I’m building his shower chair,” she said.
Lastly, the songstress called him “the loveliest patient ever,” always thanking his family for their care.
This revelation comes in the wake of swirling engagement rumours between Swift and Kelce.
The pair did not confirm any engagement and kept much of their personal life out of the spotlight.
