Mariah Carey is getting ready to spread some festive cheer across Europe, with reports claiming the Christmas queen is planning her first seasonal tour outside the US in eight years.

The All I Want for Christmas Is You singer is expected to bring her holiday spectacular to British fans later this year, with London’s The O2 and Manchester’s Co-op Live reportedly among the planned stops.

A source told The Sun that UK fans have waited long enough to see the superstar perform her festive favourites live, adding that an official announcement is expected soon after years of her Christmas concerts being limited to America.

The tour would mark another major return for Mariah, who last performed in the UK during summer 2025, when she headlined Brighton Pride before taking to the stage at the Royal Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

The festive concerts may also feature brand-new material.

Earlier this year, the 56-year-old popstar confirmed she had been back in the recording studio and revealed she was "very excited" about making new music.

While she stopped short of confirming another album, the songstress admitted she is always working on fresh songs and hopes fans will embrace whatever comes next.

The music icon also reassured fans that her long-awaited version of Someone's Ugly Daughter, featuring her own lead vocals, is still on the cards, although she remains unable to say when it will finally be released.

Meanwhile, Mariah is preparing to celebrate the 25th anniversary of her once-maligned Glitter soundtrack.

Despite the 2001 film's infamous box office failure, the album has enjoyed a remarkable revival thanks to loyal fans, with the singer now planning a deluxe reissue.

Looking back, Obsessed hitmaker admitted she once hated Glitter because it was "a disastrous flop", but says she has since grown to love the project as it found a devoted new audience.
