Prince William embraces Princess Charlotte after 'incredible night'
The Prince of Wales brought along his and Princess Kate's daughter Charlotte for the Women's Euro 2025 final
Prince William couldn’t have asked for a better night out with his only daughter, Princess Charlotte.
On Sunday, July 27, the Prince of Wales brought along his and Princess Kate’s 11-year-old daughter to cheer on the Lionesses as they faced off — and won — against Spain at the Women’s Euro 2025 in Switzerland. The emotionally charged night brought many sweet moments for the father-daughter duo, who are both huge fans of the national women’s football team.
Following the game, Kensington Palace shared an emotional video with highlights from the night.
The caption read, “An incredible night for the @lionesses and @england in Basel. Congratulations to Sarina, the team and all the support staff. Champions!”
In the video, Prince William and Princess Charlotte couldn’t hold back their smiles after England’s victory. The clip ended with William putting his arm around Charlotte as they looked on proudly.
The night was a huge milestone for the Prince and Princess of Wales’ daughter; it was Charlotte’s first solo overseas game with Prince William.
