Could peace finally be on the horizon for Prince Harry and the royal family?
According to a palace insider, the Duke of Sussex has made a “significant” gesture aimed at healing the deep rift with his father King Charles and the rest of the Firm, and it’s all part of a major shift in mindset.
Harry, who has long clashed with palace protocol since stepping down as a senior royal in 2020, has now reportedly agreed to share his official diary of upcoming engagements with Buckingham and Kensington Palace.
This was to avoid schedule clashes and unnecessary drama, a move insiders are calling an “olive branch.”
“Before that meeting between their aides in London, conflicts of interest or clashes of publicity were relished, even perhaps encouraged, by the Sussexes,” a source told The Mail on Sunday.
“Now, Harry has shifted into a new way of thinking. The tone is all about deconflicting with his family.”
The source added: “Harry still doesn’t like being controlled by the royal machinery and that won’t change. But this is a significant gesture. Sharing his calendar gives the family a chance to plan around him, and maybe, just maybe, reduce the tension.”
