Prince William and Princess Charlotte enjoyed some quality father-daughter bonding time.
On Sunday, July 27, the Prince of Wales brought his daughter to Switzerland to cheer on the Lionesses for the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 final. It marked the first time that Charlotte, the only daughter of Prince William and Princess Kate, joined her father overseas for a sports event.
To mark the milestone, the Prince and Princess of Wales’s official Instagram account shared a photo of the two posing before the game. The 11-year-old princess wore a blue polka-dot dress with her hair loose, while the future king coordinated a navy suit with a red-and-blue striped tie.
“Let’s go @Lionesses!” the caption read.
For years, Charlotte’s been a devoted fan of the team, but it was her older brother Prince George, 12, who usually tagged along with William for football matches. This time, it was all about Charlotte.
The Palace confirmed her attendance just before kickoff, writing, “The Prince of Wales has arrived in Switzerland. Joining him to cheer on the Lionesses this afternoon is Princess Charlotte.”
