Prince William to join Princess Leonor in royal reunion at Euro final

Prince William is suiting up for a royal showdown in Switzerland, and he’s not the only blue-blood in the stands.

The Prince of Wales will be in Basel today to cheer on the Lionesses as they face Spain in the Women’s Euro 2025 final. 

And in a surprise royal twist, Spain’s very own Princess Leonor and her sister, Infanta Sofia, will also be there repping their country.

In a post on X, Spain’s women’s football team confirmed: “H.R.H. the Princess of Asturias and the Infanta Doña Sofía will accompany the @sefutbolfem in the final… Representing the @CasaReal.”

Earlier this month, the prince also showed up in Zurich to support the Lionesses during their match against the Netherlands, and fans are now convinced he’s their lucky charm.

“Can Prince William be at every England game? He's the good luck charm!!” one fan posted. 

Another added: “They won for him, well, there my thoughts anyway.”
