King Charles celebrates Lionesses 'admirable' victory in personal message

King Charles showered praises on England's women football team in a new personal message.

For the unversed, the Lionesses secured a place in the finals of U.E.F.A EURO tournament after securing big win against Italy on Tuesday.

Buckingham Palace shared the King's statement, which read, "My wife and I join all our family in wishing you, the proud Lionesses, our warmest congratulations on reaching the final of the U.E.F.A EURO tournament."

"Your journey to this stage has been nothing short of remarkable, showcasing the skill, determination (and test of nerve!) for which your team is so rightly celebrated."

"Knowing the Lionesses' fighting spirit, I suspect we are in for another thrilling encounter on Sunday. Your achievements continue to inspire countless girls and women across the nation, proving once again that with dedication and teamwork, anything is possible."

At the end of his note, King Charles extended good wishes to Team England for the final to make a roaring victory.

It is important to note that Prince William, who is patron of the Football Association, also joined his father to celebrate the Lionesses' special milestone.
