Fresh controversy has erupted around Prince Andrew after a bombshell report revealed he was allegedly asked to contribute to a birthday album honouring convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
The explosive claims come just days after The Wall Street Journal exposed the contents of Epstein’s 50th birthday tribute, reportedly compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell in 2003.
The album, said to have been discovered by the US Justice Department, allegedly featured messages from several of Epstein’s wealthy and powerful friends, including a crude sketch and note attributed to then-businessman Donald Trump, which he has since denied.
Now, a source has told The Mirror that Prince Andrew was also on Maxwell’s list.
“Ghislaine was the driving force,” the insider revealed.
“She wanted a who’s who of Epstein’s inner circle, personal, meaningful tributes. She definitely asked Andrew.”
While it remains unclear whether the Duke of York ever submitted a message, the claim has once again thrust his ties to Epstein back into the spotlight.
The pair were frequently seen together at elite events during the early 2000s.
Prince Andrew has faced years of scrutiny over his connection to Epstein, especially following allegations by Virginia Giuffre that he sexually abused her when she was 17, claims he has consistently denied.
Though the Duke settled a lawsuit in 2022, he admitted no wrongdoing.
Buckingham Palace has not commented on the latest claims.
