Kate Middleton and Brigitte Macron's sweet moment goes viral

A sweet moment between Brigitte Macron and Kate Middleton was caught on camera during the French First Lady’s visit to the UK, and a skilled lip reader has now revealed what was said.

After arriving with President Emmanuel Macron at RAF Northolt, the couple was warmly greeted by Prince William and Princess Kate. 

As Macron shook William’s hand and greeted Kate with an air kiss, Brigitte exchanged a warm double-cheek kiss with the Princess of Wales, who wore a Christian Dior ensemble and Diana’s iconic earrings.

Lip reader Jeremy Freeman noted that Brigitte warmly told Kate: “Oh, so good to see you, you look great.” 

The kind comment comes just months after Kate publicly revealed her cancer diagnosis and shared that she is now in remission.

The French state visit continues with formal greetings from King Charles and Queen Camilla in Windsor, followed by a lavish banquet at St George’s Hall. 

King Charles is expected to speak about the UK-France relationship, including a potential joint plan on small boat crossings and shared European history.

This marks the first state visit by an EU leader since Brexit, and Kate’s poised appearance made a powerful impression.
