Prince Andrew plotting comeback’ after FBI drops Epstein investigation

Prince Andrew may be preparing to travel again following the FBI’s decision to close its investigation into his ties with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

The 65-year-old Duke of York, who has denied any wrongdoing, has reportedly been hesitant to leave the UK for fear of arrest or civil lawsuits.

The FBI has now concluded that no charges will be brought against Andrew or any other high-profile associate of Epstein.

A friend told The Sun that the Duke “has always been very nervous about going abroad” but now may feel safe enough to travel.

Royal biographer Nigel Cawthorne echoed the sentiment, telling Newsweek: “He’s off the hook, isn’t he? The whole thing’s run out of steam.”

Andrew stepped down as a working royal in 2019 after a civil lawsuit filed by Virginia Giuffre, which he later settled without admitting liability.

The FBI’s two-page memo stated no evidence was found to justify further investigation and dismissed many claims as “unfounded theories.”
