One of the most-watched streaming series of this decade is coming to its much-dreaded end.

The production of Prime Video’s The Boys has officially concluded, which was marked by its creator Eric Kripke sharing an emotional farewell on Instagram.

On Tuesday, the writer posted a photo of himself in The Seven’s conference room at Vought Tower, gazing at a mural of Antony Starr’s Homelander.

The producer, who is also known for the long-running Supernatural, had long envisioned The Boys running for five seasons, a plan he discussed back in 2020 with Deadline.

Kripke revealed that this would be the last time he would be on the set because it will soon be dismantled.

The 50-year-old expressed different emotions and praised the cast and crew for their hard work.

Kripke went on to add that the show’s success was beyond his wildest dreams and ended the caption by sharing his never ending gratitude for the fans.

What is the release date of ‘The Boys’ Season 5?

The fifth and final season of Amazon’s The Boys will come in 2026 on Prime Video. The streaming service is also the home of the show’s two spin-offs: The Boys Presents: Diabolical and Gen V.
