Keith David left speechless after receiving Hollywood Walk of Fame star

Keith David, who is known for being part of over 300 movies, has been finally included in the Hollywood Walk of Fame class 2026.

The 69-year-old actor could not hold back his tears after his name was mentioned alongside those who will be awarded a star for their contributions.

The legendary actor took to social media to reveal his first impression of the news by sharing a clip. He could be seen utterly shocked as he grabs his chest.

He later posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Being blessed to get to do this for a living is enough for me; to be recognized for my contribution to the arts is the cherry on top.”

Keith’s honour comes after his four-decade long association with the acting industry, where became notable for his deep voice and variety of movie roles.

The Emmy Award winner has portrayed infamous roles in several movies, including Crash, Armageddon, American Fiction and Pitch Black.

He also gave voice to notable animated characters in series and films: Disney's The Princess and the Frog, Adventure Time, and critically acclaimed Ricky and Morty.

Who is Keith David married to?

Keith gave a special shout out on TikTok to his wife Dionne Lea, whom he married on April 28, 2001.

The voice penned down an emotional note: “A special s/o to my wife @Dionne Lea… my greatest supporter.” He added: “This will be a wonderful birthday present next year.”
