Zara Tindall has opened up about the highs and hurdles of motherhood in a rare interview with Bella magazine.
The daughter of Princess Anne and niece of King Charles, Zara, 44, shares three children, Mia, 11, Lena, seven, and Lucas, four, with husband Mike Tindall.
While she’s part of the royal family, Zara was not given a royal title at birth, and lives a relatively private life on her mother’s Gatcombe estate.
In the interview, Zara described parenting as “incredible” but admitted there’s never a dull moment, saying: “Every day there’s a different dilemma or problem.” She added that she sees her personality reflected in her children, both the parts she loves and those she finds challenging.
She emphasized the importance of passing on values like hard work, respect, and motivation, noting: “We try and work every day to make sure they get the same values that we had.”
Despite having no official royal title, Zara occasionally appears at royal events, most recently at Royal Ascot and Princess Kate’s Christmas carol concert.
Reflecting on her untitled status, Zara said she feels “very lucky” to have enjoyed a more free and grounded upbringing.
